finipil is a sanitizer and moisturizer with endless uses! finipil does NOT clog pores like so many other greasy antiseptics, it actually cleans while moisturizing them. Originally created for comfort and safety after and between Nufree hair-removal treatments (your non-wax hair-removal alternative), it is also perfect for use after other old fashioned wax-care services. finipil is a patented, FDA-registered antiseptic cream that destroys and kills 99.999% of bacteria (germs, staff, etc.). It cools and soothes the skin all while helping to protect hair follicles from infection.

I got a bikini wax last week for the first time. My waxer told me to get finipil if the area broke out, which it did, so the day after the wax I hopped on Amazon and the package arrived the next day. The breakout cleared up in TWO DAYS, so I started experimenting with using it on my face because not only is it an antiseptic, but it also creates a barrier to prevent bacteria from getting inside pores. I have been washing my face (for a while now) with distilled water after my showers to remove the hard water. I have been battling with hard water in my new home and it is destroying my skin and hair. Now that I have this stuff, I wash my face first, apply the finipil, then shower and my skin hasn’t been this clear since I moved in. It’s truly incredible! So if waxes break you out or you have hard water, please go buy finipil. It is a magical salve that I am convinced contains unicorn blood. There can be no other answer.

I am a licensed esthetician and I use and recommend this product to my clients. It’s a good product to use especially after waxing.

This product does make my legs feel smoother, but I thought that it would make them smooth after I shaved, and my skin is a little bumpy. I have been using it every day for about two weeks, but another thing is there’s not a lot in the bottle so it’s not really a good value for how much you’re getting. Also, it has a kind of cool tingle and that may bother some people.

Purchased this for my girlfriend. She says she has seen an improvement with stretchmarks being more hidden/ removed.

A great product, only if used consistently after shaving/upon irritation. No scent, but kind of a tingly sensation. Kind of like an icy hot patch. Not painful though.

It actually works for in grown hairs and razor bumps. It also feels great with a cooling sensation

I’m definitely not qualified to speak of the long-term effects of this product (see update below) such as suppression of hair growth, or even if it helps to inhibit ingrown hairs (which is what I bought it for) but I CAN attest to its value to cool and soothe a freshly-waxed/sugared Brazilian! I’ve never had a full Brazilian before but I have tried to shave portions of that area with little success. With shaving I’ve experienced almost instant painful bumps, ingrown hairs, extreme tenderness, and incessant itching. I actually only ordered this because I wandered upon it while looking for a numbing cream to do my own Brazilian with sugaring (and for facial roller-derming). It had such great reviews, and waxing/sugaring could be a horrible idea, I don’t know yet, but I thought I’d give it a try. Well, I ordered some numbing cream and this, and I have to say- so far, so good!! When my nethers came back to reality after the whole ordeal, they felt cool and calm, not the pain or discomfort I was expecting (and I even had BLEEDING in a few spots). I walked around all day today and (sorry for the visual but) I’m a heavy lady and had NO discomfort! I’ll update if things change but I only intend to use this cream every few days for maybe a week, if that. At least until my next self-Brazilian sugaring. Even if things get unpredictably painful when the hair grows back in, it couldn’t possibly be any worse than the DAY I shave, nor worse than the day after! To be hair-free for even a few days (but I believe waxing/sugaring lasts a couple weeks) without the pain of re-growth is worth it to me. I cannot attest to this cream’s ability to alleviate the pain of shaving because I gave that up years ago. My hair is both very thick and ridiculously coarse so shaving is no longer an option to an old woman who far values comfort over beauty. The reason I want the hair gone is not a thing of beauty, but for comfort. It is so ridiculously thick and coarse that it causes me great discomfort, especially during sleep or walking around. I know that’s WAY more information than you need but if you’re considering waxing/sugaring the whole mess out, I highly recommend a good numbing cream and this.
UPDATE:
Well, so much for my big idea that I would only use this occasionally after sugar-waxing! While I didn’t get NEARLY as many ingrown hairs as with shaving, I did get a few. I assumed it was going to be some big ordeal as they had always been before but every time I get one, I go rub some of this on it and it goes away, almost immediately! I was only expecting some pain relief from the cooling sensation but this stuff really does heal them fast! I won’t be without this cream now that I’ve seen what it can do.
I can’t say it does anything to slow hair regrowth because mine was practically all regrown (not all but probably 70% coverage, about 25% length) within three weeks but then, my hair grows really fast.
I know this is gross but I have to say it: As a larger lady, I’ve noticed that hair in places we don’t want it does serve a purpose, smell-wise. When I shaved my bikini line (and no longer had hair to wick away sweat), I had an odor that wasn’t there when the hair was there. This stuff has something in it that kills the bacteria that causes that smell. I have NEVER, not once, used the bathroom and got a whiff of that nasty armpit smell from my crotch since I started using this. THAT, all by itself, is worth the outrageous price to me.
UPDATE 2: Again, I have given myself a full brazillian and I’m completely amazed at how well this stuff works! If I don’t use it for a few days, I get ingrown hairs, which is no longer the pain and anguish that used to mean! I’m telling you, you can go rub some of this on it, shower or not (usually not), and the pain is gone almost instantly (by the time you wash your hands and go sit down, it’s gone!)! There is no smell anymore, no ornery hairs itching or pulling, and I sleep like a rock! I have scars from ingrown hairs from shaving, if that means anything. I mean, they were BAD! I think a person that prefers to shave should seriously get some of this! You’ll never be without it again once you’ve seen the light. I never thought being hair-free could be like this.
Funny thing, my mom asked me if since I’d waxed (sugar-waxed), if my pee went in every direction like it did when I shaved. I can’t explain if it was the waxing or this, but no, it doesn’t! (That’s weird, right? Why doesn’t it? I hadn’t thought about it.) For all intents and purposes, THAT part couldn’t know if the top or bikini line were hair-free! Maybe I scared it by ripping the hair out by the roots and it was afraid? lol

I am so grateful for this product, you have no idea. So, i’ve been getting ingrown hair bumps/cysts for a long time now and they have always been so painful. About a week after I shaved I could feel a cysts/boil? forming and it was the worst. When I tell you i’ve tried everything, IVE TRIED EVERYTHING and nothing helped until i purchased this!
I didn’t use it everyday like the instructions suggested but I did it every other day after I showered. I would put this on and I would feel a tingling sensation but nothing painful. Usually after I shave these cysts would come out and they were always so huge and painful. I noticed after I started using finpil I haven’t gotten a large one and the ones i did get were small and popped on their own after applying the product a few hours before. I’m not completely sure if this product prevents them yet, but I know it does work to minimize the pain and severeness of them. If you have the same problem pls give this a try!
Also i’ve seen a lot of people talk about how it came half full and that was not the case for me. There was a good bit of product in the bottle, although it is very small but that’s a given. There is no smell so that’s good and i’ve had no irritation.

About two years ago I decided I wanted to take the plunge and start getting brazilian waxes. So I did and loved the initial results. However exactly 24 hours after getting waxed several (and I mean SEVERAL, as in they were everywhere) fluid-filled tiny white bumps appeared. They went away after about 3 or 4 days. I Googled and I talked to my aesthetician about it the next time I had an appt and she gave me some different pointers on things to do to prevent the bumps from reappearing after future waxes (it’ll get better with time as your body gets used to it, make sure you don’t soak in a bath, if you workout and get sweaty make sure to clean up ASAP, try not to touch the area, tea tree oil can help, coconut oil, etc etc). So I tried these things as well as other suggestions I found on Google and still, the bumps appeared, like clockwork, 24 hours after waxing. I continued to get the brazilians probably about 6 times and the bumps continued, then money got tight and I was discouraged with the bumps (and ingrown hairs) I was getting every time, so I stopped getting them for about 6-8 months. When I decided to start getting them again, I had my list of things to do on the days leading up to waxing and right before waxing and immediately after and the days following waxing and I was determined to get through it without the results being ruined by these annoying, unattractive bumps! But AGAIN, there they were, every time. My aesthetician had a baby and was gone on maternity leave for 6 weeks and while she was out I did some more research. Rewording my problem a million different ways in the Google search bar until some salon in another state had Finipil Lait 50 mentioned on their website, and then I found it on amazon. I didn’t order it at first but when my lady came back from maternity leave and I had my upcoming waxing appt, I decided to give it a try (not like it’s that expensive, right?) So I bought it and it came in a day or two before my appt. I showered before my appt and applied some of the Lait 50 and headed to the salon. Had my session (which btw was less painful…although maybe that was a mental thing, and I wasn’t red, AT ALL when I was normally left with VERY red, swollen, inflamed skin down there), came home and put some more Lait 50 on immediately. 24 hours went by and no signs of any bumps at all. I told myself maybe the cream was just delaying them a bit and they would eventually appear bc this stuff had to be too good to be true. Another 24 hours went by, and another, and another….it’s now been almost an entire month since the wax and I haven’t had a SINGLE bump show up! NOT. A. ONE!! And no ingrown hairs either! This stuff truly is a miracle worker! I read some reviews who said it didn’t work for them. I don’t exactly know what their situation was or what they were using it for, etc, but I am SO incredibly happy I found this stuff and gave it a try!! I Apply it to the area once a day after my shower and that’s it. It just works! I was worried it would burn when I put it on immediately after my waxing because the skin is so sensitive there and it has a "cooling effect" that I was concerned would end up being a "light my crotch on fire" effect instead but it really is a COOLING effect. I felt like I had a cold washcloth or something on the area for hours after application, which felt AHMAZING the days following the wax when I was usually pretty sore. I have also noticed a HUGE improvement in how long the hair is taking to grow back out! Normally after just a week or two I was having quite a bit of regrowth. So I was dealing with these awful bumps the first 3-4 days and then was only enjoying the smoothness for another week or so before I was playing the waiting game for the hair to grow out enough to get my next brazilian and start the process all over again. As I said earlier, it’s been a month, and guess what? I’M STILL SMOOTH!! I have had some hairs pop up here and there over the past month that I’ve just plucked when noticing them, but it’s been maybe 3-4 hairs a day, which is NOTHING when you think about how many are actually capable of growing down there.
Anyway, I’m sorry for such a long review, but if it hadn’t been for the reviews I had found I would have never tried it. And there were so few reviews available to read that I really wasn’t sure it would work for me and I almost didn’t try it. So I really wanted to follow up and add a review. Maybe someone else out there has had the same issue with those pesky bumps after and none of the other treatments have worked. This stuff is DEFINITELY worth trying!! I will be staying stocked up on it from now on and plan on telling my aesthetician about it the next time I see her. Maybe she’ll look into it and start carrying it there too. 🙂
